Artist Statement

In these drawings medium is central to meaning and the work explores ideas of relationship and story held within the physical and visual traces individuals of interdependent species leave behind.

Measurements: 15 x 40 x 2 cm

Medium: Earth from the woods, with charred roe deer rib in linseed oil, with ink, on gesso and reclaimed oak.

Artist Bio

Ibby is an artist, writer and colour maker. Originally trained at the Courtauld Institute, she holds an MA in Arts and Ecology and exhibits both in the UK and Europe.
